This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), with a strong focus on the PRISMA and PRISMA-P guidelines. It is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to plan, conduct, and report high-quality systematic reviews.
Throughout the course, students will learn how to define research questions, develop review protocols, design robust search strategies, and critically assess scientific evidence. Emphasis is placed on methodological rigour, transparency, and reproducibility, which are fundamental principles in evidence-based research.
By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to develop a PRISMA-P–compliant protocol and understand the full process of conducting a systematic review, from planning to reporting.
